Jason M. Biggs was born May 12th, 1978 to parents Gary and Angela in Pompton Plains, New Jersey (USA). Gary, a shipping company manager and Angela, a nurse; raised their son up in a community of Hasbrouk Heights. Between his two sisters, one older and younger, Jason was the middle child and wanted all to be the centre of attention. It was not long 'til he developed an interest in performing, which eventually lead to him appearing in television and print ads.

During 1991, and when he had been 13, his mother and himself relovated to Los Angeles to seek out an opportunity in the acting industry. Biggs soon scored a role on the sitcom, "Drexell's Class" and his positive expectations towards television was short lived when he was taught about the fickle nature of audiences and the impatience of the crew for an instant hit. Luckily, the sitcom lasted only one season, and left him to pursure much bigger dreams.

Upon returning home, he soon landed a role on Broadway, in the play Conversations with My Father. His performance in the production earned him many positive reviews. His role soon brought him back to the entertainment industry of television once again, but instead making a change from primetime to daytime. On daytime soap opera he starred as Pete Wendall on "As The World Turns" for a duration of a year.

During his busy life as a young actor, Jason Biggs still afforded time to keep up with his studies. He kept up with all the work by having tutors and his homework faxed to him by teachers. His hard work and dedication eventually lead to him graduating from high school in 1996, five years after he had began his search for an acting job. Although being accepted into New York University and Montclair State University in New Jersey, Jason's time at the two universities were quite brief after realising that ALL his dreams laid within the acting industry. So after being offered a role on a new television show, he was smart enough to take them up on the offer. Although the show did not get off the ground, Biggs knew that he didn't want to return home to his studies. He made the audition circuit, and very soon after he was cast as Jim, "The Pie Man", in the extremely hilarious comedy motion picture, "American Pie," his breakthrough role.

American Pie gave him many roles including ones in the motion pictures, "Boys & Girls", "Loser", "Saving Silverman" and many more. Fortunate to all of us fans, after American Pie had been such a success towards the public, the film was to return as a sequel. American Pie 2 did very well worldwide, with its even better storyline and jokes. American Pie 2 proved to be an even bigger success than the first.

From 1991 to date, Jason Biggs has starred in many roles on the big, and small screen. Although being very famous and well-known for his role as Jim on American Pie 1 & 2, Jason Biggs hopes to vary in his selections of film roles and hopefully, ridding the world of forever knowing him as 'the kid that had sex with an apple pie'.
