The nerd is exactly what the name implies: An outcast from the society of school. He always walks down the halls with his head down, except when he's in the Science Lab. (Read: He doesn't talk in any Bnet channel except for nerd-filled channels.) He is afraid of the school bullies (warriors) except for SNOBs, which he thinks are gay, and therefore non-threatening :P He is always embarassing himself in front of pretty girls(ro gues) and will give them gifts to try to win their fancy. If they ever give him a gift, he is amazed.
A nerd puts NRD after his name. If he becomes a dropout, he must change it to DO. if he is considered gifted, he puts GNRD. if he is a Harverd Graduate, he changes it to HG.
If a nerd has not reached at least 1 dot by the time he is 30th level, he is considered a Dropout and is shunned from Nerdish society. If he has gets his first dot at level 17, or his second dot at level 20, or his third dot at level 30, he is considered Gifted. If he gets all three, he is considered a Harvard Graduate.
Armor
The nerd can never have anything above light armor because if he loses anything more expensive his mom will kill him.
Weapons
He may only use weapons that are easily concealable, such as a dagger, short sword, hammer, or short bow. These items are the only ones that can be worn in a game with a warrior, or when he goes to see Adria. Adria is a good friend of her mother, and the town gossip. She will tell everyone that the Nerd has fallen in with a bad crowd if she catches him with such weapons.
Enchantments
He loves +intelligence items, +spell level items, and +mana items. He must wear any cursed items that are found that subtract from strength or dexterity. He will collect reading glasses, and can use them at any time outside the dungeon.
Uniques
He is allowed to use uniques, but prefers not to because they could be stolen by the school bullies. He almost always gives these to a rogue, or keeps them as reading glasses.
Nerds never like to get close enough to their opponents to use Flash or Inferno on them. They also dislike area affect spells (It's like playing with matches!) so they don't use Chain Lightning, Fire Wall, or Nova. Nerds are not allowed to use Blood Star or Bone Spirit because they are inefficient.
