Rules

A concept borrowed from the Valkyrie, the Vampire also will not be spending any of his level up points. The one deviation from the Valkyrie is that the Vampire will NEVER use his stored level points because of the fact that the Vampire is technically dead and can therefore not experience growth. However, the Vampire may augment his various attributes by 'leeching' it from his foes. (Translated from RP speak: The Vampire can only gain stats from elixirs dropped by enemies. For the sake of difficulty, the afore mentioned 'leeching' of strength is only permissible with enemies that have a discernable amount of prowess. [You may only use elixirs dropped by monsters on levels 13-16.])

A second result of the Vampire's unique state of un-death is that the Vampire must obtain sustenance in the classical vampiric way--blood sucking. That being said, the only ways a Vampire be gaining life are life stealing, blood fountains, and (an unavoidable instance, although almost necessary to stay alive before you get a life stealing weapon) level ups. Using your powers of intuition, you might be able to figure out that, yes indeed, healing potions, full healing potions, potions of rejuvination, potions of full rejuvination, healing scrolls, healing, heal other, and Pepin are illegal. (*I am pondering an exception to this for the sorcerer class, as forcing the sorcerer to use his base hp and disallowing the use of mana potions would prove fairly interesting.)

Reanimation

When a Vampire dies, how is it supposed to go about retrieving its equipment with such a depleted consitution? It so happens that certain relics exist which have the power to restore a small portion of strength to a near-dead Vampire...

There once existed a rather numerous store of small baubles issued forth by the Lords of Hell. Originally crafted from the burning fires of Hell and then consecrated with the blood of one hundred demons, these baubles were originally meant to alleviate the insatiable thirst of the Knights of Blood. However, once the Sin War breached the gap into the mortal world, the combined armies of Heaven and man began to slowly push back the armies of Hell. During this time, many of these baubles were retrieved by humans ignorant of their powers. Because of their fierce blood red color and flawless structure, many of the stones were sold to jewelers and crafted into pieces of jewelry. Over the years, as the strength of the minions of Hell grew in the mortal world, some of these jewels were reclaimed, and some may be found within the treasure stores of the shallow part of the labyrinth.

Hundreds of years ago, an ancient civilization inhabited the mountains to the south of the Desert of Aranoch. This civilization defended their lands vigorously, their military using weapons hewn from the giant forest at the foothills of their mountain home or from forged from iron ore gleaned from their mines cut into the mountainside. The weapons they used were of such wide repute for their durability that they were passed down through the ages. Having seen a millenium of battles and warfare, the once polished artifacts had been blackened by the blood of countless warriors over the years. Although vastly inferior to what the forges of Hell can produce, these relics are highly prized by demons for their dark past as a symbol of Hell's impending triumph over the mortal realm. When exposed to these relics for short periods of time, the Vampire can regain a portion of his strength.

Items

Weapons
Everything but blunts allowed. After all, the Vampire must be able to rend the flesh on some of the monsters with tougher hides.

Enchantment Bans
Glorious, Saintly, Holy, Godly, Angel's, Arch-Angel's, of Light, of Radiance

Obviously, anything designed for the added endurance of a living body does not apply to a vampiric body. Those designed to enhance strength, spirit, and celerity, however still function as before. Therefore the suffixes of the fox, jaguar, eagle, wolf, tiger, lion, mammoth, whale, vitality, zest, vim, vigor, and life are duly disallowed. Similarly, of disease and of illness are allowed because the Vampire cannot be effected by such things any longer. In reference to equipment that adds + all to stats, it would be permissable to wear it in the event that you are wearing other equipment which equalizes (or comes out at a loss) the hp bonus from the +all from that equipment. Equipment suffixed with of the jackal and vulture, and unique items will be allowed to fulfill this end.
