MISSING

  • Victor Rodriquez La SantaCan you put this pix of Victor Rodriquez La Santa on your website to see if anybody remembers him (he is the one in the white pants). He was stationed at RAF Bentwaters around 1957. He is my friends GI father. All that is known of him is his name and that he came from New Jersey. He was known to have got into some kind of trouble in a pub in Ipswich and was sent to Norwich prison for a few days prior to being sent home to the states and discharged from the Air Force. We have tried several ways to find info on him but its proving real hard, we wrote to C Pellergrina at records center but still no word from there. Steve Krulin in Miami is a great help but what we really need is a date of birth or for someone to remember him from RAF Bentwaters. Hope you can help. Submitted by Melanie Powell, in Ipswich here! . 7/10/01
  • James 'Jimmy' Weeks, Sgt: Thank you so much for the excellent site which I'm sure many people enjoy meeting old buddies, finding relatives, reminiscing etc. I myself am trying to locate James,my Father, who was in the USAF stationed at RAF Upper Heyford in Oxford, early 1950's. I realise that is not what this site is about (wrong...Jim) but for any help you may give me, I would really be most grateful. I'm unsure of the correct spelling. I should imagine James was his real name. Submitted by: Reaca Dunn 7/12/01
