Seige

Trying to make an offer...

"How do I find the people I make an offer to?" Seige asked, they'd be in town for a day or so and had yet to find where they go.

"We go to the Arena, don't we?" Miiji suggested.

Kioli cackled. "Leave everything to me! I'll round up all the breeders and then we'll talk, you two stay in the hotel room, okay? Good!" The old lady skittered off, who knew what trouble she was going to get into…

"I demand to have the following come to speak with me and a friend: All Drakkin Breeder's!" Kioli ran around yelling that until finally somebody stopped her before she had a heart attack.

"Okay!" One man yelled. "Enough old lady, apparently you don't know how to find them so I'll save you the trouble and locate them for you, hopefully they're not busy and will listen to you, old crazy bird!"

"Oh thank you young man," Kioli said, acting older than she felt, "now step on it and I may give you something!"

"Whatever lady, just wait here."

Miiji and Seige didn't have anything to do while they waited and somehow they found themselves in a staring contest with each other. Miiji and Seige both had tears running down the sides of their face by the time the door to their room open. Miiji's gaze was ripped from Seige in his excitement, while the other kept staring until he softly said, "I win."

"I'll win next time! Are there here Kioli?"

"Yes," Kioli said, "it was strange trying to get them to come here, I don't think they like me that much…but when hearing of an offer they came nonetheless though they all seem busy so make it fast."

Seige stood when he saw three others. "I am unsure how one goes about this," he bowed, "but I wish to purchase a Drakkin, I have read all I can about them and I feel I am ready to train one."

They all waited, looking around expectantly until Kioli bonked Seige on the head with her walking stick. "Get to offering boy!"

"Right," Seige murmured. "All that I am able to offer is these two sacks and my backpack, in them are various trinkets."

Miiji, curiosity getting the best of him, opened up a sack before Seige could stop him. "Wow! This is not trinkets dude! This is, this is… how'd you get all this?" Miiji pulled out endless golden chains, silver chains, jewels of all sorts, the sack literally glowed when opened.

Seige ignored the question. "I do not know what is all in there, but most things I find would be valued in all places."

"And I have things to add as well!" Kioli announced, motioning to three large bags of her own. "First my margona seeds, they're very powerful things if one knows how to use them, but beware, they can blow a face off if used wrong," spotting a questioning look she cackled, "don't worry, the face is easy to put back on! Next I have three bags filled with herbs, medicines, potions, and whatnot. The last bag, the red one in between the blue and green, is never-ending, you can put as much crap in that thing and it'll never fill up!"

Seige blinked, he wondered if this was enough, he didn't want to offer his sword too, it was his only friend he believed. "So, um…"

"I also have in there some shiny rocks, rocks you may ask? Why yes, but these rocks are very interesting things. The green one, if put in a garden, makes it the best garden in the land! The blue, put in a stream or lake, the water is the purest no matter what filth is dumped into it. The yellow can make any light the brightest ever and the red can make any fire the hottest in the land. The black is an interesting one, don't mess with it less you wish to nearly freeze yourself by eliminating all light around you and making it very cold…"

Miiji perked up, he wanted to see these rocks, but he knew he couldn't. "I wanna offer somethin' too!" He cried suddenly and reached for his torn up sack. "Here! Two daggers! Silver one with red and black jewels in it, swirling around prettily! And a gold one, with green and purple jewels swirling. I think they melted the jewels somehow, how else would ya get this design pattern?"

Seige blinked. "So, what do you say? All of that for a Drakkin from your latest clutch?"

The three looked back and forth, the clutch was said to be Tytula's, but they could always see what would happen. The female stepped forward. "We will get back to you on whether or not we accept," she said, "but first, could you write all that down?" Kioli figured they'd have to talk to over so she instantly set about making a list.

Seige's offer for a Drakkin

"Here you are," Kioli said, handing the list to one of the three.

They nodded, saying again that they would return to say whether or not the offer has been accepted.

When the breeder's had left Seige flopped on the bed and mumbled softly, "Now we wait…"
