A BIG MONUMENT OF FAITH

The Mangyan Children Dev’t. Center

Whenever I look around the building, tho’ unfinish yet, I couldn’t help but feel so amazed on how God manifested His greatness in this building thru His “worm” servant like me. This is a real awesome work of God! And all I could say is: “I Praise You Lord, Your Mighty Hand is truly at work! Indeed, You are a rich God and faithful to Your servant!”
This building is a big monument of faith in GOD!
The 2nd floor and the roof top were almost 60% done. By faith in God’s provision, the remaining works to be done are as follows:
1. Plastering of Walls in the outside
2. Floor tiles in the 2nd floor and roof top – 1,000 tiles
3. Finishing works for the Stairs
4. Room Dividers including door for each room
5. Painting job
6. 6 Toilets & Baths
7. Prayer Room in the roof top
8. Training Room in the roof top
9. Fencing of the roof top for kids’ safety
10. Small terrace or veranda

THE SEASON OF SERVING

December is a vacation time to be spent to families but three Doctors and four Dentists set aside a quality time to be spent to Teknotropheo Missions. In this season, we had two days of medical and dental missions as a gift for the Mangyan people and Non-Mangyans as well or Tagalog people . As usual, we shared the gospel to the patients before they were given treatments. Some Pastors and youth from Manila volunteered their services in this activitiy. And our Mangyan kids helped us too.
“ I had a great time also,,,and its indeed another reminder of the great need of Tekno. I do hope I can play a more active role in Teknotropheo Mission, pls. do pray for me. I will find ways to help finish our mission building.” Dr Armand’s word of encouragement.
Truly, the holiday season is a time of serving especially for Volunteers of Teknotropheo Missions

TEKNO KIDS NEWSBITS

Praise God for Saving Lives of two Mangyan Kids: This quarter , two Mangyan kids met an accident – Helen, a 5 year old kid, was hit by a car while Ismael, 6 years old and grade 1, fell down the stairs from the 3rd floor. God spared them from greater harm. Helen’s left leg was hurt and was treated well by an Orthopedist. Its good there is an Orthopedist near the area. Ismael just got a small wound in his head and was healed immediately. Thank God for saving the lives of these two kids.
Thank God for Saving the Souls of four Mangyan Kids: After four years of evangelizing the Mangyan kids; 4 of them clearly understand now what salvation is, at last! and decided to accept the Lord Jesus in their heart as their Lord and Savior. They were Susan, 22 years old, grade 6 student ; Glea, 13 years old, grade 2,; Jemayma, 12 years old, grade 5 ; and Angeline, 18 years old and first year high school. They clearly understood also that they have assurance of salvation and had the need to grow in their faith. Pls. pray for their spiritual growth and protection from the attacks of the evil one.

Mangyan Kids Volunteered in Medical & Dental Missions: Ten Mangyan kids volunteered their services during our medical and dental mission. Hervie served as “ pharmacist”, explaining to patients how to take their medicines; the other kids assisted the doctors and dentists; and some took care of the proper lining up of patients. They helped too in preparing food for our medical Volunteers.
Happy, happy Christmas for the Mangyan kids!: On December 20, 2005, the Mangyan kids had a happy Christmas party full of games, gifts and food. Hervie Boy, our 4th year high school student acted as the master of ceremonies. The kinder kids , Susan, and some boys, rendered special song nos.. Most of the kids truly change a lot now, from being so timid to being participative now. Thank God for this social development.

Prayer Corner

1. Our Grade 6 student Susan, 22 years old Mangyan lady, still wants to continue her studies in high school and college but her mother ,who’s ill, doesn’t want her to continue, pls. pray that her mother will change her mind and let her continue her studies. Pray too for healing and good health for her mother.

2. Mirale- doctor suggested to take her to private surgery instead of charity because thousands of patients are lined up for surgery. This will cost a lot since she’ll not avail the 85% discount. Pls. pray for God’s provision for her.

3.Jerome, Obet, Rodel, Bobby, Marlon G., Marlon P. and Danilo, all in elementary grades, were disqualified from the support of Teknotropheo because of their disobedience and tardiness in going to school. Pls. pray that they will change and be accepted again next school year.

4. Pls. continue pray for Danilo who may have epilepsy – we were unable to bring him to the hospital because his mother is not giving her approval.

5. Pls. pray for God’s blessings and success of our Gareetha Sari-Sari, our mission’s livelihood project , Sari-Sari Store. We will sell some donated items that are not needed by the Mangyans, to convert it to cash and use the fund as supplement to our ministry operation expenses.

6. Our mission building works couldn’t resume yet because we have no fund yet. Pls. pray God will provide fund for the tiles, plywoods, cements, labor fees and other needs. Also for our monthly ministry needs.

Pls. help make this issue’s prayer items our praise items in our next issue!
