Main review by Josh Freak (attempted editing by DF - NOTHING can edit the Freak:) On St. Patrick's Day the fun and game is stopped when Bart accidently gets drunk, making the people of Springfield rise up in anger, and find a 200 year old prohibition law that has never been enforced. Now Springfield is supplied alchohal via the Mafia, who are also bribing the police. Moes is now under the guise of a pet shop, but is actualy selling beer, with wild jaz, dancing, and more roaring 20s things. Finally FBI agent Rex Baner is brought in to control the police force, and his first act of duty is to kick out corrupt Chief Wiggum. Now the Mafia, and all alchohal is shut out of Springfield. Homer now becomes the "Beer Baron" by getting beer which was burried, and is getting it to Moe's by putting the beer in bowling balls, which go down pipes which lead to Moe's. Unfortunately Homer runs out of beer, so he has to make his own, when after a short time, the machines explodes. Homer tries to get Wiggum back in his job, confesses to him about being Beer Baron, making Wiggum the hero and Rex is kicked out. Later, it was found that the Prohibition law was repealed 199 years ago.
I give this show a B, the plot was good, and kept you entertained, but few of the jokes made me laugh out loud, and none were great line, like "I dressed myself". Many times I haave found places in the episode were I felt the writers should have done such and such to make it beter, and im not someone with a harvard law degree, nor is my name Abraham Simpson. So the episode was entertaining, but not something I would love to see again and again.
