Born in Hong Kong but raised and educated in Taiwan, Zeng Baoyi now lives in Taiwan with her mother, a younger sister and two younger
brothers. Her father, Zeng ZhiWei who is still based in Hong Kong visits them
occasionally, but the close-knit family keeps in touch mainly by telephone.
Baoyi released her debut album in 1999. Apart from singing, Baoyi hosts a number of variety program in TVBS. She is also a member of "Xiao Yan Jia Zhu" which also includes Harlem Yu, Pu Xueliang, Huang ZhiJiao and Tao JingYin. Baoyi was said to be the third party between couple Huang ZhiJiao and Xu XiDi who had broken up. Baoyi has declared that she is not the one who caused them to break up. We know that currently Baoyi is stressed out. Don't worry Baoyi, time will prove them that you are not the third party. In a chatroom in Taiwan, surfers asked who is the artist you would like to be with if the world ends. Many has choose Baoyi and Jin ChengWu.
