In November 1998, Evelyn released her first album known as "Mo Qi" in TCS a year after she participate in Star Search 1997. In December 1998, Evelyn got the "Most Popular Newcomer Award and the "Top 10 Most Popular Female Artises Awards" in Stars Award organized by TCS. With rumours about Evelyn spreading around, Evelyn still continue to do her best in acting and singing. After filiming "Home Affairs", Evelyn made a guest appearance in "Soho @ Work II" and she hosted some shows on TCS like the President Star Charity 2000. Evelyn shock all her fans when she announced that she will be leaving MediaCorps for MediaWorks with effect from October 2000. No matter what made Evelyn think of leaving, we will continue to support her. May Evelyn Excel in MediaWorks with all previous MediaCrop artists. For now, Evelyn is awaiting new tasks from MediaWorks which new TV Station will be ready by May 2001. So now, fans of Evelyn had to continue waiting.
