STILL BEING WORKED ON - PATIENCE IS NOT A VIRTUE I POSSESS!
I have spent the last four years of my career at BellSouth® - first as a contractor (of a company I had part ownership of) and then as a BellSouth employee. I have spent a year and a half working at BellSouth Corporate - I worked in the Knowledge Management Department working contracts and content managing their internal data repository/online library accessible by all 85,000 employees. That job was my spring board as a business analyst and content manager that landed me as the Sr. Manger of the Portal and Applications division of BellSouth.net (the ISP). There I launched the Portal three times within a year and a half and managed all customer facing applications and services for the company. After two gruelling years commuting from the southside of Atlanta to the Northshide where "dotnet" is located I opted for a position of Sr. Marketing Manager - BellSouth Braodband and Internet Services. I focus on Loyalty programs and Churn/Switch and Retention programs and analysis. I must say I love what I do - I no longer manage a team as I did at dotnet - but I am able to run with my projects and do it my way. I have found both equally rewarding - managing a team to get things done and doing things yourself. I can't say I like one more than the other.
