Sadomasochism - S/m - a sample scene
The sadist may request, for example, that the masochist lean up against a wall or across a saw-horse. Securing them to a system such as hooks and chains may occur. Restraint is usually done if the scene is expected to be heavy (rough) so that the masochist can lean on the bonds or use them in other supportive ways.
The sadist may start by warming up the skin with soft blows from a suede flogger, or by hand-spankings.
The intensity level builds as the masochist gradually is able to take more, usually because endorphins are now starting to flow.
Whips, riding crops, paddles may be employed. Hot wax may be dripped onto delicate skin. Hair may be yanked and things bitten. Body parts can be pushed, shoved or twisted into ingenious devices that grip, pinch, or restrict.
The sadist may employ mind-games to scare the masochist and increase the intensity level of the scene, such as threatening to use a knife on them or to flog them raw.
They may actually go far enough to draw blood, or to using hot implements to brand skin if this is something both parties are into. Needles may actually be inserted, or just used to scare.
These are extremes, however, and not everybody is willing to go that far. Again, the masochist sets limits the sadist is not allowed to cross. Safewords are employed and respected.
Any type of roughness inflicted on another to purposely cause discomfort or pain is sadomasochism, and the person who likes their nipple bitten during sex, or their testicles yanked hard is actually indulging in masochism whether or not they acknowledge it. Erotic pain is still pain. |
