buddha2.jpg (55324 bytes)  Welcome to the Florida Buddhist Association's official web site.

We are very excited to share the Dharma with anyone who wishes to know more about Buddhism or who is interested in practicing in our Buddhist Sangra.

The Florida Buddhist Association is a weekly meditation and study group that meets every Saturday between 5:00 o'clock and 9 o'clock p.m. We practice traditional Chinese Pureland Buddhism as well as study and learn from other Buddhist traditions.

The Three Refuges        The Four Noble Truths

I take Refuge in the Buddha          The Truth of Suffering.
I take refuge in the Dharma          The Truth to the cause of  Suffering
I take refuge in the Sangra           The Truth to the end of   Suffering                                         The Truth to the way to end Suffering

The Buddha taught that there are 84,000 ways to practice Buddhism. Pureland Buddhism is the largest school of Buddhism in the world today. It is a simple, yet extremely profound way towards the end of Suffering
