Discovering the Square of Life
What’s in your schoolyard? Have you ever investigated the living and non-living things? How many do you think you could find? What do you think they would look like?

The answers to these and many other questions can be found in the collaborative project Square of Life.

The Square of Life project gives the students an opportunity to investigate a square meter of their schoolyard. Each group will record living and non-living objects discovered. After sharing data, students will look for similarities and differences. A final report will be prepared and submitted to the project.  There is an opportunity to reconstruct the square of another participant.
