101 useless fac... okay... many, many useless facts about sara:
1. my favorite bands as of sunday, october 27th, 2002 are: sigur ros, the cure, interpol, the libertines, and the kills. 2. my favorite food is microwaved pita bread with chive cream cheese, tuna fish on crunchy bread, sushi, and avocado on bread with melted havarti and mustard. and anything with mayonnaise. 3. my AIM screenname is comfortflows which i stole from a girl on the sigur ros message board. 4. when i'm typing emails or lists like this or talking to people on aim, i get a strange urge to punctuate my sarcastic remarks with the words "hur hur". 5. my middle name is molly. 6. i knew since i was probably seven or eight that i wanted to be a writer when i grew up... but that has changed over the years. 7. i've gone down on a girl twice. 8. and gone down on a boy once. 9. my best friend's name is sam, and he's a rock star. 10. sam told me i look most like the woman from "rushmore". 11. i'm only on number 11 and already i'm impatient with this list. 12. i've never been in a relationship with anyone i actually loved or desired, and usually not with someone i actually even like as a person. hm. 13. the coolest girl i know is alissa, and the coolest boy i know is sam. 14. i'm in french II in my high school 15. and i'm a sophomore. 16. i go to the cambridge school of weston. 17. my birthname is spelled sarah, but i chopped off the 'h' last year because i liked the way it looked. 18. the coolest thing i have done in the past month is lie down on sam's kitchen floor at 1 AM while the jello he made sits in the fridge and we talk about the royal tenenbaums and lie there for a half hour. 19. sam's cat's names are moog, mack, and mooka. 20. my dog's name is PJ, and she's a poodle. 21. my mom's dogs are named max and goldie, and they're golden retrievers. 22. my dad's dogs are named mona and misha, and they're yellow labs. his cat's name is maxwell. 23. i live in brookline, massachusetts. 24. the most embarrassing thing i have ever done is: when i was probably about 13, a friend and i gave some guy in a chatroom our phone number and told him i was 19. he called my house, and i intended to pick up, but my mom got it first and heckled me. when i answered, my voice squeaked and he had to ask me three times "how old are you?" i have never fully recovered from that. 25. i've established probably about four websites in total. 26. the first site was a place to archive all the wallpapers i made as a hobby when i was bored or obsessed. you can find it here. 27. the second was a shrine to my former favoritest band in the whole, whole, whole wide world, coldplay. there's nothing in it, but you can see it here. 28. my third was a short-lived joke about emo, called emo valley, a day spa for the heavily underappreciated emo citizens. not much there either but you can take a look. 29. some of the most brilliant lyrics i have ever read are those written by conor oberst of bright eyes. one night i was bored and i flipped through my bright eyes cd sleeves and copied down the lyrics i liked most, and hung them above my bed. 30. i'm not a lesbian anymore, but i still like girls. 31. i am in a conquering mood. 32. i alternate between thinking all the members of the strokes are attractive and thinking they are repulsive. 33. mtv and i have a love-hate relationship. 34. I LOVE SLASH. 35. how could i have forgotten number 34? MEN TOUCHING EACH OTHER IS FUCKING HOT. 36. i have taken exactly four drags of any given cigarette in my lifetime - two taken this weekend. 37. i wish i smoked. 38. i feel depressed and insecure all the time 39. but i never notice it. 40. i am technically jewish, and i've had a bat mitzvah and everything, but i hate religion. so i guess i'm atheist or agnostic. or something like that. 41. there were about 15 kids my age at my bat mitzvah and i disliked half of them. the other half were family. i kind of dislike them too. 42. the only reason more people i disliked didn't come was because there were two other bat mitzvahs for kids at our school on the same day, and everyone went to those instead. 43. the three favoritest bands of my lifetime have been, in this order: our lady peace, VAST, and coldplay. i'm sure there were others but those are the really important ones. 44. bobby gillespie is the only middle-aged man i find attractive. 45. my current boyfriend, andy, gave me a drumstick from a division of laura lee show he went to before we got together. 46. that is how indie kids court each other. 47. the drummer was really unattractive though. 48. my favorite boys of the week are paul banks from interpol, ben gautrey from the cooper temple clause, orri pall dyrason from sigur ros, and carl barat from the libertines. 49. my current dream couple is orri and kjartan, from sigur ros. but that changes every few minutes. 50. i am halfway done! 51. my hair is brown and short and my eyes are blue-gray-greenish. or just blue. 52. penises are the ugliest things ever created. 53. i'm gonna either grow my hair out to my shoulders or shave the fuck out of it. 54. i hate body hair with a passion, but i don't shave any part of my body. i used to. but it's not my bag. 55. jack white used to be attractive, but his soul seems to have died. meg is still cute though. 56. i submitted a red-ink drawing of meg on notebook paper to the white stripes' website, many many moons ago, but as far as i know it was never even acknowledged. it was terrible anyway. 57. another embarrassing thing i've done is fallen asleep in a night class i used to take, and suddenly i jerked awake so hard that my chair moved and i shook the table (and i must have snorted or drooled or something too). politely, everyone pretended not to notice. 58. my french teacher from last year thought i had anemia because i was so pale and tired all the time. 59. once i went through a phase where i had read so few good books that i just thought that i might as well kill myself because i would never read anything really good enough to satisfy me. (jennifer lash's "blood ties" ultimately threw me into this phase.) instead of killing myself, i stopped reading entirely for about six months. i've just started reading again, and nothing is different. 60. exhausted is my permanent state of being. 61. my three favorite books in the past have been SE hinton's "the outsiders", phillip pullman's "the golden compass" series, and LJ smith's uber-trashy but uber-good "the vampire diaries" series. my current favorite is "blood ties" by jennifer lash. 62. sigur ros, my supposedly current favorite band (but they're not, really) has a new album coming out on october 29th. i wonder if they'll have any cool promo stuff. 63. my friend cory says that beginning of interpol's song "obstacle 1" sounds just like red hot chili pepper's "by the way". i don't know because i haven't heard the beginning of 'by the way' but maybe i'll compare sometime. 64. cory's friend rachel's brother went to eddie vedder's house. 65. and now cory's telling me about how clarissa from the old nickelodeon show 'clarissa explains it all' loved pearl jam. 66. i can't believe i'm doing this, when i could be doing homework. both of them are basically equally as tedious. 67. my favorite flavor of ice cream is hagen daasz (um...) strawberry. there's this local ice cream place that makes awesome oreo ice cream too. 68. if i were ever to kill someone, i would probably hide out in my closet. 69. the best band you've never heard is the von bondies. 70. thirty more to go. 71. i give up!
