When I die and go way up there, On the way I'll say a prayer. For those left behind, I'll really miss, I'll send to them a prayer and kiss. What I'll see I know will be good, I'll get to see where Jesus has stood! He will welcome me with open arms, And keep me from all earthly harms. No more suffering for me and no pain, No more walking bent over with a cane! I'll walk tall with my Savior by my side, And all his words of wisdom I will abide. I know back home I will be missed, But where I am, I'm surely blessed! So when I die, and leave you all here, I will be walking with the Lord, oh so near! Author: Susan T. Fisher Sept. 14, 1999
