That greatly reduces (but doesn't eliminate) my chances of needing to travel out west. It is completely unclear to me where my priorities will be when I get back from my vacation in October.The Los Alamos National Laboratory is about 30-35 miles northwest of Santa Fe. I highly recommend that you visit the area -- the scenery is amazing up in the mountains. (It inspired Chuck Jones to create the Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons.) Just stay out of the restricted areas, pack for ALL types of weather, and avoid the Hilltop House Hotel at all costs. Many of my business trips to the west coast will include weekends out west too. (Not necessarily at the client site, I hope.) |
