Beta Club

The National Beta Club is a sorority for women, that focuses on math, science and technology. It is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. Beta Club Seal

When Ms. Petrignani crated the Robotics team, she also created a Beta Club. Our Beta team helps the environment become a better place as often as we can. Ms Farrell helps Ms. Petrignani with the Beta Club. She provides us with the lab materials and makes sure everything is laboratory safe.

We recently entered a challenge called The Lexus Eco Challenge that was about making a difference in the environmental health of our planet. To learn more about this project, just visit our Current Projects link, or click HERE

Achievements of The Beta Club:

  • In 1954, Mary Ann Mobley served as Mississippi State Beta Secretary. In 1959, she was crowned Miss America.
  • In 1964, Bill Clinton, our former prsident, was president of his local Beta Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas
  • In 1978, Bill Clinton, the former Governor of Arkansas, was the keynote speaker at the Arkansas Beta Convention
  • In 1979, Former Beta Club member Cheryl Prewitt was crowned Miss America.
  • 2009, The National Bet Club celebrates its 75th Anniversary! =]
