This is a monitor lizard I saw on the edge of the woodland near a beach on the island of Pulau Sapi, about 15 minutes boatride from Kota Kinabalu.

This is the bowled out corner section of a skatepark in Pin Tong, south Taiwan. This bit is a real laugh; it is only three years old, but has a real 'sevs feel to it.
I'm really "digging for victory" with this little bugger, but it gives some idea of what the spotat Red Square (known as City Park by non-skaters) in Kota Kinabalu is like. Sort ofan EMB floor with Union Square(ish) walls and a "Mini Courthouse" bandstand..... but my favourite part was the boulders!
