BACKGROUND: • Born from the 'Shadow Government' of the 20th Century USA. AeroTech's manifest destiny has expanded with the encorporation of the US into a global government. • Originally founded in secret to control the policies and finances of the United States, AeroTech changed its sights to global domination when the USA collapsed. • Owns and controls many of the high tech industries worldwide. • With its legitimization in 2015, AeroTech no longer meets in secret and its board of directors may act openly. • AeroTech has had alien technology since its purchase of certain Federal Government assets during the US liquidation. The company has known the Chigs' desire to remain distant from Earth. An AeroTech probe landed on a Chig-controlled planet, where it received the warning message, although the company claims to have been unable to decipher the message. The fact that there was a message was also kept secret. • Because of this secret, the UN agreed to the colonization projects of Vesta and Tellus, eventually leading to the start of the 'Interstellar Conflict'. |
