Think life without God. God without man is still God,
but man without God is nothing.

I don't know what to say about me. I came in this world as nothing. I was born in a remote town of Capalonga, Camarines Norte, just 8 hours travel from Manila going to south. On November 8, 1963 my mother was laboring on me, between life and death, perhaps, signifying that the child doesn't want to experience life in this earth, but fortunately, after 30 minutes my first cry uttered on that day.

My father not knowing what to do left everything to the will of God. The only midwife in our town felt nervous because only one of us (my mother or me) will be survived.

But fortunately nothing happened to both of us. My father was so happy when I cried for the first time. the midwife had to tap my lower back for about thirty minutes before I give the first cry.  I grew up as a child in the dense forest of Camarines Norte where my parents had bought a piece of timber land to cultivate for us to live.

Day after day I was helping my parents together my brothers and sisters to till the 24 hectares timber land. It is very common for us to encounter snakes in the way. My father is smart making traps to catch wildpigs, monkeys, reptiles and birds. A typical filipino farmers, burning forest to cultivate a land to plant grains of rice and vegetables was our activities everyday.

When i was in grade 1, I remember the time when my brothers and sisters walked 4 miles just to attend classes in the barangay elementary school. I sometimes attend class barefoot and without short. We return back to the forest at night, only molds were served as our light on the way. Fearful owls and other night birds always scared us while on the way.

One of my brother fortunately married a woman lived in East of Manila, in Rizal province. During that time He asked me to come to Manila to study there. This time, I used to adjust my life for a new environment to live.
I have six brothers and sisters. I belong to a big family where my parents didn't know family planning. My parent was a victim of World War II during japanese occupation to the Philippines. To save my mother from the enemy, at younger age my father took my mother to be his wife. Therefore, they produced 12 children.
