The Uncus program was created to promote Camping, Service, and
Rededication to our Principles in the OA. The Uncus Award in Tahosa
is given to those who have rededicated themselves to the ideals
of the Order: brotherhood Cheerfulness and service. The award is
named a figure in our legends who has shown us brotherhood and cheerfullness
and service. He has seen the point of the arrow, and it is only
right that we honor those who strive to follow his footsteps.
To qualify for the Uncus award, a scout must successful complete
the following:
- Attend five units to assist with Unit Elections and Camping
Promotions (Units inculde packs, troops, teams, and crews)
- Continue your leadership and service to your unit, and be active
in their camping program
- Be active in the OA program by attending two events
- Strive to complete the Arrowmens Service Award.
By completing these requirements, arrowmen will recieve a section
of a special four part patch, to be designed by an arrowmen in Tahosa.
The program will run from November to November, with adjustments
as needed in the program's requirements, approved by the LEC. The
program is open to both youth and adults.
The first recepiants of this award in the last few years, will
be given at Fall Fellowship. Have you given of yourself? Join us

The program will not be awarded to those who do not complete the
requirements, unless reviewed by the LEC.
