My Kitties
All of my cats are gone. Tippy was the last. She died on Sept 8th at 9AM. I burried her in a special place at noon. No more cats for me now.She died the day after my birthday and was the sole survivor for two years. We had a lot of quality time. I will miss her.

See Amber's First Day on Planet Earth !

These are a few of my "babies". Actually, they are all over a year old. I have 9 of my own and I am taking care of my oldest son's cat, Sunny, and my daughter's cat, Kit. I keep them in my travel trailer, which has never traveled anywhere. The have insulated boxes inside and have their water on a heating pad to keep it from freezing. Sunny is a large redish male and is neutered. Kit is a mostly white and some calico-ish colors mixed in. She is spayed. I have to keep them inside since Sunny still likes to fight and it's to cold for Kit who has short hair. Sunny is long haired and seems comfortable in all weather conditions. I have a back porch for my un-spayed/un-neutered cats. I have another calico-ish mother and her baby. Both have seven toes on their front feet and both are females. The baby is much bigger thatn her mama and looks like a tortise shell style Maine-Coon Cat. The father was a wild Maine-Coon. He is very large and I see him every so often. He fathered the oldest three female I have. They are spayed and run free, except on very cold days. They have a few insulated boxes outside that they find quite comfortable. I have a small, pure black female and her three "kittens". The "kittens" are about a year. One is definetly a male but he's not quite ready to spread his seed. He has two sisters(or maybe 1 is a boy, can't tell), and one is pure black, too. He and the on that might be a boy too, resemble the father who is that same old Maine-Coon. That cat got all three of my females! The three older cats all resemble a Main-Coon tortise shell style, but their mother was a pure black cat that had died about 6 months after they were born. Only one has long hair. They play and act like kittens once in awhile but they are two years or more old. I'd have to check the papers from the vet and backup a few months. I plan to spay and neuter the 6 in the back porch and then find homes as soon as possible befoe something really bad happens to them. The upper left corner cat(above) is probably dead. My father might have had it killed after it bit me. It was a stranger and started hanging around. I fed it and it would sit on my lap for as long as I would let it. One day I must have touched a sore spot or whatever and it bit me. It didn't draw blood but my father was real mad. It dissapeared a few days later as suddenly as it had appeared. We never discuss it but he hates cats anyway and the 9 I have must be all he can take. It's a miracle he hasn't told me to get rid of them all or move out. I guess he knows they are my only contact with living things since I don't date or party or hang out with anybody. They are comforting, but I go through $75 a month, or more for food and ALL THAT KITTY LITTER. I made litter recycling systems to reused the stuff since at $1.79 for 25lbs was still costing me a bundle every month. I have three hundred lbs of it at all times in various stages of recycling. YUK.
This following stuff is almost a repeat of the above but is somewhat more current.
I have 15 cats total. Some are outside and the unspayed gals are in my back room. I have 3 spayed cats from my first litter. I have a pure black mother with 3 grown up babies.All of them need "fixing". I have a multi-colored seven-toed mother and here really big seven-toed baby, both un-spayed. I'm watching a cat for my oldest son and my daughter who also being un-spayed has a daughter of her own. That would be Amber, my first grandchild. Now, I'm really feeling old, but Amber is a real trip to watch,so, I'm O.K.,, Any way that makes 11 so far and then there is a calico that will eat my food but won't let me come close to it(I almost touched it once!) Also I have two male kittens that have adopted me. One nearly starved from a feline virus but I force fed it until the nose cleared up and it could smell the food. They won't eat it if they can't smell it! The other kitten was small enough to put in a 1lb coffee can with room to spare. It's pretty big now for a kitten. The 15th cat is wild but even though it just started hanging around, I pet it today, Oct 13, as it was feeding. It plays with a rubber lure I have on a fishing pole just like the rest of them. I think it looks like one I had leave a year and a half ago, but I haven't seen if it is a boy or girl. My missing cat is a girl and I'm thinking its a boy. I desperately need to find them all homes, befor my dad kills them. I can't blame him because he hates cats. I spend half of my earnings just feeding them and buying care products and kitty litter. I haven't anything left for me after car upkeep and feeding the family. My dad takes care of the bills. He doesn't mind too much since he can still waste more money in a month than I gross at work. I'm glad he can waste it, he earned it!
I will have many new pictures of all of my cats since dad bought me a new Canon SLR and it's a real honey of a camera. I got a high end scanner at BigLots, go figure! It goes up to 2400 dpi and to give you a comparison to that 75 dpi makes an exact same size representation on my 19" screen in 1024x768 res. Doubling the scan dpi doubles the width and height yielding four times the area. At 2400 dpi, an object is widened 32 times and the height is 32 times. I don't know, but that seems mighty cool to me.
