I was doing a comparison of the scripture on the subject of salvation, and this is what I found:

On page 1653 of the "New World Translation Bible", the subject title is "Jesus" and under the subtitle "More than belief in Jesus is required":

Belief must be accompanied by works....................Jas 2:17-26; 1:22-25

If you read the scripture referenced to, this scripture speaks of works that are either dead works or real works that prove that your faith is real or not. This scripture does not say that your works brings salvation.

Look at Romans 3:27,28; Eph 2:3 also.

I would like to note here, that when I looked up any scripture I compared it to King James (the oldest English translation) and the "New World Translation" bible, was not always in agreement. I will note this as this presentation continues.
