God's judgment will be poured on all mankind for their unbelief. Be an `Overcomer' so that you will be counted worthy to escape (protected) the coming sufferings, pains, sorrows, starvations, etc. from the effect of wars, earthquakes, famines, diseases, etc. during the era of the Beginning of Sorrows and the Great Tribulation. Faithful and godly Christians, who walk in FAITH by OBEYING the WORD of GOD, will definitely be taken back to heaven at Rapture and will escape the soon coming Wrath of Satan
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. Rev 12:1-6
This glorious woman represents the glorious Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. The devil tries to destroy the male Child by deception. However, when the male Child is born, God takes him to His throne in heaven. After the male Child has been taken up at Rapture, the left behind Church (the Christians left behind will be full of faith, having witness the awesome Rapture and our glorious Lord coming for His overcomers) flees from the world for three and a half years and is nourished by God.
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. Rev 12:7-10
The devil, who accuses the brethren before God day and night and causing sorrow in heaven, will be defeated by the archangel Michael. He will be removed from heaven once and for all, and will be cast down to earth. The whole heaven rejoices.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Rev 12:11
These Christians found in heaven are the overcomers, who are represented by the male Child.
"Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Rev 12:12-14
Worldly, carnal, misled, sleeping, foolish and unbelieving Christians left on earth will suffer once the devil has been cast down. In his fury he will pour out his anger on them. Knowing that his time is limited, the devil tempts and persecutes the Christians in a manner the church has never experienced before {deliver to Satan - 1Cor 5:5}. This period of three and a half years is referred to as the Wrath of Satan, when the 666 mark will be implemented.
Satan will be cast down to earth only after the male Child has been taken up to the throne of God. Then Satan will be given all authority and power over mankind. He will then tempt, deceive, torture, kill and destroy the Christians during the period of the Wrath of Satan.
And now you know what is restraining, that he (Satan) may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He (Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 2 Thes 2:6-7
These overcomers, represented by the male Child along with the Holy Spirit, will be taken up at Rapture. All Christians left behind and the new Jewish Christians will be given the Seal of God (Rev 7:3). Overcomers will be spared the Wrath of Satan.
"But take heed to yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:34-36
She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Rev 12:5
"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth" Rev 3:10
From this verse we know that the male Child is an overcomer in the Philadelphia church, for he keeps God's command and endures to the end all temptations and persecution and rejects all doctrines of demons and other wrong teachings. See how you too can be an overcomer. Rev 3:7-13
"And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations-- 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' -- as I also have received from My Father." Rev 2:26-27
From this verse it can be seen that the male Child is also an overcomer in the Thyatira church. Rev 2:18-29 shows how you can be an overcomer and receive the reward of a king to rule in the Kingdom of heaven, with our Lord Jesus as the King of kings.
"To him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Rev 3:21
This verse tells us that he is also an overcomer in the Laodicean church. (Rev 3:14-22) and he will be grant the privilege to sit on the throne of Jesus to rule with Him. Only His bride will be given this privilege.
"And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, `These things says the Amen, the Faithful, and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth." Rev 3:14-16
Hot - represents those Christians who are on fire for God and who keep all the promises made to Him. They fulfill the Great Commission by evangelizing and making disciples of all nations in accordance with the teachings of Jesus.
Cold - represents those Christians who are not out-going or out-spoken, but who, nevertheless, in their quiet ways have surrendered their lives to serve the needy and poor. Their testimonies will lead many to the Lord.
Luke warm -represents those Christians who promise to give their all to serve God whenever their dedication to the Lord is challenged. However, when the challenge to serve Him in finances, full-time comes, they give excuses that they are not ready. They will sing, praise and worship Him saying that they will surrender their all to Him. Yet, their everything still belongs to them. They love their lives, material wealth and the pleasures of this world more than God. No wonder God will spew them out of His mouth!
"Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-" Rev 3:17
In term of material things, this church is wealthy and powerful with a big and rich congregation. They do not need any help and are able to organize evangelistic meetings, camps, seminars, etc. without the need to fast and pray for God's approval and providence. The only approval needed is from the board. This is the END-TIME, powerful but sick church, for it is wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.
"I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see." Rev 3:18
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." Matt 19:21
"Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys." Luk 12:33
The only way to have gold or treasure in heaven is to give much to the poor for the Lord said `to give all'. In this way you can convert the destructible, earthly treasure to eternal, heavenly treasure. The streets of the Kingdom of heaven (New Jerusalem) are paved with gold, thus you need to send your `refined gold' to heaven.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt 6:19-21
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. Rev 6:9-11
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Rev 7:13-14
From the above scriptures, only those whose lives belong to the Lord {"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Gal 2:20)} will love not their lives but sacrifice them for the gospel. Eventually they will be martyred, just as Jesus Christ also died on the cross. These martyrs will be rewarded with white clothes or robes.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness! Matt 6:23 KJV
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Tim 6:9-10 KJV
These verses clearly indicate that the love of money, which is the root of all evil, blinded this rich church. In Mat 6:23, it can be inferred that when one loves money, he is in total darkness. If he is a Christian {light}, then the darkness in him will be extreme, causing him to be drawn to all kinds of wrong teachings and heresies such as prosperity teachings, demonology, and humanistic teachings, etc. to obtain recognition or financial gains. Destruction awaits them. The scripture below helps us to overcome this weakness of the flesh.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Mat 6:21 KJV
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Mat 6:22 KJV
Firstly, by giving to the poor thereby converting his earthly treasure to refine gold in heaven (Matt 19:21)
Secondly, by sacrificing his very life for an eternal life (Matt 10:39), for which he will be clothed with a white robe.
Thirdly, by not loving money nor the things in this world, so that he has the light and love of the Father in him and will thus be able to see. (1 John 2:15-17)
"And they (overcomers) overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Rev 12:11
1) Jesus wore the crown of thorns and thistles and His blood has destroyed all the curses on Adam (Gen 3:17-19), Jesus bore all your hurts, rejections, bitterness, etc. on the cross (Matt 27:29-30)
2) Jesus suffered great agony and sweated blood to destroy the curse on Adam (Gen 3:17-19) so that your needs and provision will be fulfilled. God will supply all your need if you trust and serve Him. (Luke 22:44)
3) Jesus was whipped so that by His stripes you are healed. He bore your sins of hatred, unforgiveness, jealousy, wickedness, and pride. Even your physical body is healed if you do not sin anymore. (1 Pet 2:24)
4) Jesus died on the tree (Cross) so that His blood can redeem you from all your curses including those caused by the sins of your forefathers. (Gal 3:13)
5) Jesus poured out His blood after His death so that ALL your sins, iniquities, and transgressions will be forgiven when you believe that He is the Son of God.
6) Jesus was obedient to the point of death, therefore God made Him Lord and exalted His name above all names (Phi 2:8-11). He has given you the authority of His name to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to set captives free, etc.
7) Jesus died so that His victory over the power of death, sets you free from the bondage of the fear of death. (Heb 2:14-15)
You should abide by the Word of God and live a life-style of complete faith and trust in the Lord. e.g. Lay not treasure on earth but lay up treasure in heaven means giving your money to the poor without any hesitation or excuse. You have read the Bible and seen the faithfulness of God to the saints and now you have experience God's faithfulness in your life. In the near future when you witness the prophecies of God coming to pass one by one (esp. Endtime events), your faith should be made perfect and you will be able to forsake the pleasures of this world. The Holy Spirit will teach, guide, and lead you into all Truth (obedience to the word of God)
You rejoice in being partakers of His sufferings and death that you too may be glorified with Him. Give your body as a living sacrifice to God. (Rom 12:1-2).
if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. Rom 8:17b-19
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Cor 4:17
For he who has died has been freed from sin... Rom 6:5-11
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phil 1:21
...whom having not seen you love.. receiving the end of your faith -- the salvation of your soul. 1 Pet 1:6-9
And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. 1 John 5:4b |
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26
