"At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through." Dan 11:40
In the last days the Coalition forces (king of the South) will attack Iraq (king of the North). This will then be the start of 4th Seal whereby 1/4 of all mankind will be killed. When that happens, all hell will break loose: Muslims worldwide will declare `jihad' against Christians and Christian nations. Weapons of mass destruction will be deployed resulting in the death of millions. However, Iraq will defeat the Coalition forces (though invincible in the eyes of the world) and overrun all these Arab nations like a whirlwind. The Muslim soldiers fighting with the Coalition forces will turn against their own comrades-in-arm. This will cause chaos within the camps of the Coalition forces and Iraq will just walk over them, just as in the days of Gideon {Judges 7:22-23} and Elisha {2Kings 6-7}.
When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the LORD set every man's sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath. And the men of Israel gathered together from Naphtali, Asher, and all Manasseh, and pursued the Midianites. Judg 7:22-23
The rebels with turn their nations to Iraq, and Iraq will therefore controls the whole middle East. This will be the emergence of the greatest power on earth - the `New Babylonian Empire' led by the head of Iraq as the Emperor. The following nations will be part of the `New Babylonian Empire' with Jerusalem its capital:
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, etc. (conquered nations)
Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, etc. (friendly nations).
Israel will also be conquered.
"There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast." Rev 17:10-13
The known world then (Middle East), had the followings `empires' until the days of John at Patmos around 100 AD: -

The `seventh empire' will be in the future. Once again before Rapture, the whole Middle East including Israel and Jerusalem will be conquered and come under the rule of Iraq. This will be the beginning of the `New Babylonian Empire' ruled by the Antichrist. He will set up his capital in Jerusalem. However, the rule of the Antichrist will only be for a short period of a few years only. Then he will be killed by the coming of our Lord at Rapture, but the devil will incarnate using his dead body to become the `Beast'.
Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down." Matt 24:1-2
When the disciples showed to our Lord the beautiful buildings of the Temple of God then, He told them that not a single stone will be upon another {please also refer to Mark 13:1-2; Luke 21:5-6}. With this parable, He told them that the temple of God will no longer be a building but the physical bodies of human beings during this period of Grace or the Holy Spirit {1Cor 3:16-17, 1 Cor 6:19-20}.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 1 Cor 3:16-17
Since, during the period of the Holy Spirit, the human physical bodies of Christians are the temples of God, then all physical temples built for YHWH (Jehovah) the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob must be destroyed. This temple of God referred to by Our Lord Jesus as `House of prayer of the Father' was completely destroyed and burned by the Romans in 70AD and by the 7th Century not a stone was upon another for the site was used to build the el aqsa mosque till now. Similarly, the endtime temple of God built by the Antichrist will be vapourised by the brightness of the glory of the coming of our Lord Jesus at Rapture.
{ Note: During the period of Grace and of the Holy Spirit, God will not be able to dwell in any physical building for every Christian physical body is the temple of God. Thus, the endtime temple for the God of Abraham will not be dwelled by God but by the Satan the impostor. }
After the conquest of the Arab world, Iraq will mustered all the forces and attack Israel and Jerusalem.
" and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; ... Dan 11:31b
"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." Luke 21:20-24
He will then enter Israel and conquer Jerusalem (sanctuary fortress). Our Lord warned the Jews to flee Jerusalem for it is the vengeance of the Lord for their Unbelief in signing the PLO-Israel peace Accord in 1993AD. The conquest of Jerusalem will be horrific that even pregnant women and babies will be killed. Our Lord warned the Jews to flee Jerusalem so that they may be saved in later days.
"and they
shall defile the sanctuary fortress (Jerusalem) ; then they shall take away the daily
sacrifices (place of worship - el aqsa mosque), and place there the abomination of desolation
(the temple of God)."

And he shall plant the tabernacles
(temple of God) of his
palace (residence of the
king) between the seas in the glorious holy mountain
(Temple Mount in Jerusalem) ;

The head of Iraq (Antichrist) will then remove the mosque (take away the daily sacrifices) on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and in its place propose to build the temple of God (abomination of desolation) for the worship of the God of Abraham (Allah). This will be welcomed and hence unite the 3 religious communities; namely the Christians, Jews and Muslims and bring about peace and security to the middle East. With these the people will proclaim him as the saviour of the people of Israel and the Palestine (Gaza Strip and West Bank). He will then be accorded the title of prince of peace. This will then be the start of the period of the Beginning of Sorrows.
"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a king shall arise, having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; he shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive; he shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without human means." Dan 8:23-25
"All these are the beginning of sorrows." Matt 24:8
Our Lord Jesus told us that Matt 24:3-7 is only the Period of the beginning of sorrows and this period will be for about a few months. However, the whole period of sorrows will be about 3-4 years. This period is called the period of sorrows because it is truly a period of sorrows to God and to the elect of God for they will witness the deception of many Christian leaders by the Antichrist. The saddest thing is that these deceived Christian leaders do not realised that they were deceived.
"And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress (conquer Jerusalem) ; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices (removed the Al Aqsa mosque), and place there the abomination of desolation (and in its place build the Temple of God for the Antichrist)." Dan 11:31
The Antichrist, being the `servant of Allah', may then prophesy to the Muslims that Allah, the God of Abraham, wants to dwell among mankind and has chosen Jerusalem to be the place to build His Temple. He wants the Temple to be built on the present site of the Al aqsa mosque. The whole Muslim world will be so delighted that Allah is coming to dwell among them (Emmanuel) and thus they will immediately set forth to remove the Al aqsa mosque. This is a paradox, for over a thousand years, the Muslims and presently the Israeli government have been protecting the mosque from the Jews' destruction and now the Muslims themselves are destroying it. Possibly, immediately after the removal of the Al aqsa mosque, he may then prophesy that the God of Abraham wants the Jews to build this Temple for they were the ones chosen to build God's Temple in the past. He will also declared to them that without their knowing, Allah has caused them to get all the building materials ready for the Temple. He will declared that the God of Abraham is not only the God of the Muslims but also that of the Jews and Christians. He will then call for an immediate stoppage of fighting among the 3 communities (namely Christians, Jews, and Muslims) for the God of Abraham wants all these 3 faiths to live in peace for they are brothers.
The el aqsa mosque was standing there since the 7th Century and over the last 1300 years the Jews and even Christians tried to destroy it. Even the present Israeli government dare not destroy it for the fear of worldwide retaliation. When this Antichrist remove the mosque, unlearned Jews and Christians will rejoice for the possibility of a `prophet of God' in their midst.
The proclamation by the Antichrist of building the Temple for Allah the god of Abraham on the Temple Mount will be an astonishment to both the Jews and Christians. Misled Christians will no doubt accept him as the anointed servant sent by God to be the restorer.
To the amazement of the Christians and Jews, the conqueror of Jerusalem will hand the Temple Mount site to the Jews to build the Temple for Allah the god of Abraham. With this act, he will earn the confidence of misled Christians who will go forth to proclaim him as a true servant of God.
{ Note: Allah is only the god of Abraham but Jehovah (YHWH) is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. Thus Allah is not Jehovah. }
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" Matt 24:3
The Lord told them that during the period while the endtime temple was still under construction, many misled church leaders and pastors will become false christs for they were deceived by the Antichrist. They will proclaim to the Christian world that the Antichrist is a servant and a true prophet of God just like Balaam (a Gentile). They will encourage Christians to follow him and his teachings.
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many." Matt 24:4-5
These false christs do not know the Times and Seasons of endtime and are completely ignorant of endtime events and the dangers of deception. They do not know the plans and will of God and they are not aware of the works of God then. They are blind but because of their pride and they want recognition as great men of God, they teach or prophecy that the Antichrist is truly a prophet of God.
"Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt
with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out
great exploits.
Dan 11:32
All those false christs and false teachers (wickedly against the covenant) will easily be deceived by the Antichrist. Only those who keeps His commands, obeys His Word and puts the trust in Him (know God) will be able to overcome (strong) the deception. They will expose the sinister schemes and deceptions of the Antichrist and help (carry out great exploits) other Christians to be overcomers (please refer to the Overcomers in the webpage title the Rapture).
{ Note: All `Pri-trib' and those who are ignorant of the dangers of endtime events will definitely be deceived. }
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many." Matt 24:4-5
These false christs (deceived and misled church leaders, pastors and teachers), loaded with the understanding of the new teachings of the Antichrist (1Tim 4:1-2; Rev 2:24), are so fervent that they will go forth to teach and mislead Christians and they are extremely successful.
"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." Matt 24:6-7a
The whole world then, with the exception of the Middle East under the rule of the Antichrist, will be at war. Civil, ethnic, religious and political wars and terrorism will be rampant with the deployment of the weapons of mass destruction thus killing by the millions. Many of these nations will look to the Antichrist for deliverance. The moment they submit to the rule of the Antichrist, these nation will have peace and security. False christs will thus proclaim him as the true anointed servant of God sent to be the deliverer of mankind.
{ Note: The Middle East or the former Babylonian Empire rule by the Antichrist will go through a time of great prosperity, peace and security. }
"And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." Matt 24:7b
The weapons of mass destructions cause famines (due to nuclear fallout or deadly chemical), pestilences (chemical and biological weapons) and earthquakes (atomic and nuclear bombs). Only these weapons of mass destruction will be able to kill 1/4 of all mankind over this 3-4 year period (4th seal - Rev 6:7-10). These killing caused by the wars and terrorism will only cease when the leaders of those nations submit to the Antichrist and worship only Allah to whom the temple of God is being built.
The period of sorrows is the period of deception of Christians by the Antichrist and also a period of great persecution of godly Christians by the misled, nominal, carnal and worldly Christians.
"... but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Dan 11:32b
Godly Christians (saints) will rise up to expose the Antichrist. They will be able to enlighten many Christians concerning the coming events. When all these endtime events come to pass, the faith of these Christians will be strengthened and they themselves will become overcomers in this period of deception.
"And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Rev 12:11
However, Christians, who are ignorant of endtime events, will not believe the saints. For by then all those countries who had submitted to the Antichrist and obey his commands and teachings are experiencing peace, security and great prosperity. Christians nations and all other nations who refuse to submit to him will suffer from warfare and terrorism resulting in death by the millions caused by the great famines, pestilences and earthquakes from the release of weapons of mass destruction.
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 1Thes 5:4
{ Note: All those who believe that our Lord Jesus will come as a thief in the night will be caught in darkness. They will refuse to study and understand the endtime events and thus they will be deceived by the Antichrist }
"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake." Matt 24:9
All saints i.e. Christians who expose the Antichrist and the deceptions, will refuse to obey his commands and teachings. They will be persecuted and even killed. All mankind will hate these saints who had dishonoured the Antichrist their deliverer from these tragic wars and horrible death and has now given them peace, security and prosperity.
"And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another." Matt 24:10
"And those of the people who understand shall instruct many;
yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and
plundering. Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many
shall join with them by intrigue (or betray them)."
Dan 11:33-34
Misled, nominal, carnal and worldly Christians, who fear the sufferings of these wars, will reject the warnings of these saints. They will hate them and betray them to the authority for punishment.
"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." Matt 24:11
At this time many false prophets will arise and they will be able to perform many miracles in the name of Allah. These will deceive many Christian to follow them.
"And because lawlessness (or terrorism) will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matt 24:12
Because of the great magnitude and intensity of terrorism (weapons of mass destruction employed) in all these other nations (nations not submitted to the Antichrist), Christians will not dared to evangelize, preach or teach the Word of God anymore for fear of persecution and death.
"And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time." Dan 11:35
This is a time of testing for Christians so that all those who are able to overcome the deception of the Antichrist and the false prophets will be highly rewarded in heaven. It is a time of perfection.
"But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matt 24:13
Our Lord warned us that unless our faith in Him endures to the end by continuing to obey his commands and teachings fearlessly, we may miss the Rapture (our redemption).
"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." Luke 21:27-28
We must continue to evangelise, warn, teach and admonish with gentleness and to disciple all Christians to be like Jesus. We must be overcomers in this period of trials and tribulation. We must not fear death which is a blessing for we will be set free from this earthly vessel to be at home with our heaven Father.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Matt 24:14
Thank God that during the judgment of the saints that the gospel of the kingdom will reached all mankind. All mankind will tune on the TV to see the torture of the Christians. However during this period, our Lord will use our bodies for His glory in the preaching of the gospel to all.
"But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist." Luke 21:12-15
During this period of sorrows, the gospel will reach all mankind via TV network and this is the period when the temple of God is still under construction.
Immediately after the completion of the temple of God, the Antichrist will dedicate this temple and this will be the beginning of the Period of Great Sorrows or the Period of Great Tribulation.
