1) How do I get music on my page?
Answer: Oh it's easy. Just put this code wherever you want the music player to be: <embed src="http://www.site.com/music.mp3"loop="false"autostart="true"width="145"
height="75"align="center"></embed>
Ok. Fill in the http://site.com/music.mp3 with the URL of your music. You can get music from my downloads section or if it's not enough, try www.arwen-undomiel.com or www.arwenevenstar.com
Set loop to true if you wish the music to replay itself, and autostart to false if you wish it to NOT start automatically when someone enters the page.
2) How do I get words scrolling across the page?
Answer:Very easy!! I use this code: <marquee>text that scrolls</marquee>
3) Why can't you make your own banners?
Answer:I don't have any software that can do it. I might buy one next time though.
4) Where did you learn HTML?
Answer: Well, to tell the truth, I didn't exactly learn it. I just got used to it,
slowly, with the help of my friends and stuff. If you want HTML goodies, go to bravenet.com, and Lissa Explains it all is a good start to learning HTML.
5) How did you make your site?
Answer: Through lots of work, lol. If you wish to build a site, www.freewebs.com
is an excellent start. Then you can proceed to Geocities (where I host my site) or if you want a paid service, try Powweb or GoDaddy.
Answer: Nope. Think it's too expensive. I mean, why buy something when you can make a perfectly lovely site for FREE? The only thing is no ads, more uploads and stuff. I don't need all those.
7) If you don't use Geocities Plus, how do you make your site like that? I just started and I don't really know how to build it.
Answer: Ok, this takes a while to explain, so I'm not going to say all here. I'll just say that it's really quite simple, just navigate in all the portions and try everything out. If you still don't get it or want a full tutorial by me, ask me here.
8) Did you make everything here?
Answer: I admit it, no. For credit go to the credit section, and all that are stated there are not done by me. But otherwise, yes.
9) Can I copy some of your things?
Answer: Well, yes, but you must give me credit. Please do not make your site, put a link to my elvish and say that you did the whole thing. You know, I really spent time on that and it'd be much appreciated. You can just say, Done by www.oocities.org/lotr_fans_forever. Thanks
10) How do I join your club and what exactly is it?
Answer: You want to join? Awesome! I'd love that! Just scroll down to the bottom where it says Join and click on that and fill in the form! If you have any problems, just email me. It is a fanclub where members receive monthly newsletters. It may simply be that they receive newsletters, but it is even more than that. It is a club where all the LOTR fans get to know each other, as well as have fun. They can also submit polls and quizzes and stuff...yeah. So join now!
11) Where do you get all your info?
Answer: By reading up lots, searching, and more lol! Please- no stealing.
12) If I link you...can you link me?
Answer: Well, I guess so, if you have a nice site and I like it...of course, if you have a hate site or such, I will certainly NOT link you, and even if I like it, I can't guarantee your link will be up. And you must, of course, email me to tell me you have linked me. But anyway, thanks for linking!
13) How do you get a tagboard and stuff?
Go to www.bravenet.com for lots of those stuff. It is an excellent HTML goodies site. Tagboard is from www.tag-board.com. They give an excellent tagboard service.
14) Will you make an award for me?
Answer: I don't have the program, but as above, I may get one soon.
15) Can you help with my site?
Answer: Certainly, I'll be glad to do so, but I may not have the time.
16) How come your site doesn't contain much info..or graphics such as welcome signs?
Answer: Well...simply because I've never read the books, and I don't know much about them. Also, I thought that making a movie site would be much more fun. For the graphics, yeah yeah I know..I'm trying to get graphics up..it's just that I don't have enough time...:(
17) How often do you update?
Answer:I used to update pratically every day, unless something crops up or I'm busy. Well, now, (sadly), I can only update at most thrice a week, as this is a very very VERY important year for me and I have to study for exams....I update as much as I can, though, every day when I'm online.
