The Elangomat is an important part of the Ordeal Weekend, or Cony Party. It is his responsibility to watch over the clan, and to help them see the point of the arrow. It is only right that he help these candidates as he has seen the arrow. Cheerfully serving others, the elangomat is a friend to all, leading by his own example and showing others the purpose of the Order.

WE and Tahosa Lodge are proud to announce the formation of the Extended elangomat program, and its use in the Lodge and Chapter. This program is designed to help new scouts grasp a feeling for the Order of the Arrow, and it's different programs. The goal of the program is to help instil lthe values of OA into the new scouts. To help keep OA mysterious, the exact duties of OA are not available online. Please attend a chapter meeting to learn more.
