Arrowmen,
PLAN NOW FOR APRIL FUN
Arrowmen! Mark your calendars -- April 19 - 21, 2002. This is going
to be a weekend of fun, fellowship, entertainment, competition and
training. It is the annual conclave of OA's Section W-5B. New Ordeal
members will find it an exciting and enjoyable opportunity to learn
more about our Brotherhood. Lodge members who have participated
in previous conclaves know that, once again, they will be able to
show their stuff whether it is Native American dance, ceremonies,
workshops, sports, website development, patch trading, publications,
theatricals or just the consumption of excessive quantities of nourishment.
Activities begin at 7 p.m. on Friday evening and conclude Sunday
morning at 10:00 a.m.
The conclaves, hosted by Section's Council of Chiefs, are gatherings
of Arrowmen from Ha-Kin-Skay-A-Ki Lodge of the Pikes Peak Council,
Mic-O-Say Lodge of the Western Colorado Council and Tahosa Lodge.
Ha-Kin-Skay-A-Ki Lodge/Pikes Peak Council are the service lodge/council
for this year's event to be held in their area. The conclave program
is a cooperative effort of all the lodges under the guidance of
the conclave vice chiefs. Tahosa's Andrew Ritzdorf is organizing
the American Indian events and Drew Regner the training activities
for the 2002 meeting. Members interested in assisting should contact
them directly.
Additional conclave information and registration forms may be obtained
at chapter meetings, the council service centers or the lodge web
site. The required BSA Class 1 medical history form, not needing
a medical exam, will also be available.
