Hello. How are you?. I am fine,Now that I AM getting my ISP from Family Video for only $12.95 & no tax since it's figured in.
I have been using it for almost a month and I still LOVE it.

There are no committments. I can get it for one month at a time and skip a month if I want. Its easy. They print out a paper with step by step easy to follow instructions. I did it on my son's computer, too. There is no ad bar either. After this month I can get a many months for cash, no plastic or debit crap. When ever I pay it will be the $12.95 + a $2 fee each time I make a payment. One month is $14.95 total or say 10 months are 129.50+$2 or $131.95 I can dig it since it absolutely unlimited use and my son and I are getting a quality isp for less than $7.50 each. Our hours are different and it works perfectly. Also, he can sign on anywhere he's at by setting up a dial up system like at home.
So
Try Family Video's Internet Service!
I'm using it NOW. TA DA !
NOW, stop reading this if you want.
I'm about to blast my first totally free ISP..Netzero. Also my personal favorite of all free e-mail services, Juno. Now they are combined into a new isp called "United Online". Both old services offer 10 hours per month free, but I tried and it didn't work that way. They SAY that you can't use that feature until 4AM but at 4:01 am it starts denying access until 4AM the next day! What the heck is that all about? And, how's about that current ad saying that the internet should be FREE. Then they come back later and offer their premium package for $9.95 or so but only to those with plastic. If you charge it to your phone, it's about $2 higher. I drive down to Family Video, usually returning movies or games, and give them $14.95 each month or $27.80 for 2 months, $40.85 for 3 months, etc. It's $12.95 per month times the number of months purchased at one time + $2 handling fee. I don't care if I'm paying the least I can, since I'm less than a mile from getting service with a smile and no committments. If I want I can cancel in the middle of a month and credit the unused amount to the next month that I decide to get back online. Don't waste your time reading this stuff. I'm just a bit hyper about being online for hours and hours at a time. I was using that Juno Web that was free, and as I said, it kept dumping me, in as little as 2 minutes. I still did hours and hours of work and surfing but I was logging on 30 to 35 times per hour, wasting 45 seconds per log-on. I would keep my work on the internet exploder which kept me from losing my place. I had to work on my pages offline and then quickly upload as much as possible. I did get lucky once in a while when the ad-bar errored out making the juno part un-usable. The Explorer kept working and sometimes I would get as much as 90 minutes of un-interrupted working time. I was uploading really large files then and also downloading some seriously large applications. I was doing this even after getting FamilyVideo's ISP since I was beating Juno on their own terms.

And now, if you happen to still be out there...
At present, I have 13 cats. I recently lost my absolute favorite cat. Furball was one of two longhair tortise-shell style Maine Coon cats of her mother's litter. I raised her and her 5 sibs after her mother died, a month after they were born. I was almost ready to bite a bullet over her since it was my fault she's gone. I should have made her stay at home while I did a quick errand. She never liked riding in the car but I only had to drop off a letter and I could do that from within my car. I had to get out to mail it, though, and I didn't see her slip out. When I got in the car I could her moaning and crying but I thought she was inside the car. When I got home I tore the seats right out of the car, looking for her. I drove back to the post office and drove slowly all over there and revved my engine since she always came running when ever she heard it at home. No Luck. I still drive arount the area but she's gone. It's only two miles away but there are 360 degrees in a circle and only a few degrees would get her home. If she found the riverbank and went upstream, she might get back. Travelling due south might do it, too. The problem is traffic, dogs, and mean people. Then it started getting cold out. If cats coulfd think, I could imagine what she thinks of me. I betrayed her. I will never forget my shame. She trusted me and I let her down. I never put curses on family members, but I do put a serious one one me. I can't forgive my stupidity. In any event I may have to let the others go. I have 7 that stay outside.

Update Oct 2002
WELL, at least I did. Smokey got ran over and I burried him Sept 2002. Sunny, my son's cat has been missing for 4 months and Kit, my daughter's cat has been gone for a month. I only have 3 cats left since the 6 in the back room were gone one day when I came home from work.

They have styrofoam lined boxes which are effective up to about 5 degrees below 0 F. I gave them access to a trailer, through a small portal. It isn't heated but it has a heating pad that can keep their water from freezing. I feed them every day. Moist food is heated in the microwave. The other 6 are in a slightly heated back porch. They have a heat vent that keeps the water and food from freezing. I need a sponsor to provide me with funds so I can build a 2-car garage that is insulated and heated. No cars will go into it, just cats. I'll have a doulble entrance to keep any cats from getting out. It will also keep the heat in when entering. They will have a very larg kitty litter pan. Their rooms will be 4'x4'x3'high. They will be able to commune in a general area, but can be separated into their own area. I won't have to keep them all inside, only the un-spayed females. The 6 in the back room are females and un-spayed. Two of the outside seven are males but are to young to impregnate females. I hope to get them all taken care of since I can't add any more kittens to society. I will want to take in about 5 or 6 more but that's my saturation point. I need the building for showing them to prospective owners. I can groom them and isolate the sick or injured ones, too. I want to have overhead walkways since cats love climbing and hiding.
Regardless of whether or not my government lets me go on disability, I must quit working soon. I hope to devote my time to my cats for as long as I can. I desparately need to make up for the things I've made them endure. I want their days to be pleasant and painless. Any outside help would be appreciated but I have to wait a bit before I can start my "cat sanctuary". I'd love to be able to acquire an old house for taxes like the housing copany did. They tore it down and put up a $100K house but I would have liked the old house just fine. It had a new roof, blown-in insulation and new vinyl siding. It was very fuel efficient and was sold for less than the material bill for the roofing and siding,(about $3K). After the fixes, this house's value of $15k had risen to $25k but it was totally demolished and carted off to the dump! Go Figure!

I bought General Mills cereal for $1.29 a box and got a $1.25 Webbuck for each 3 boxes I bought. That saved me an additional $ 0.40 per box!
Note: November 27th: I'm still a grandpa! Amber is almost 8 months as I write this and still growing! She mimics some sounds and laughs whenever she passes gas. She sits up for hours and moves around the room by rolling. She has 6 teeth and can eat table food with no problems.

Amber is 18 months old. Or 1 and 1/2 years. Mydaughter got back from Kansas. Had to run for her life from that no-account boyfriend and his MOTHER! Boy are they sick. His mom thought Amber was her own baby and tried to steal her, I think. Don't really know, but it was weird!

News FLASH
My daughter got pregnant gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and then gave the baby away to some nice people in Washington(State). I did get to hold Jamie Jo one time before she went away with her new parents.
Hopefully, I won't be seeing anymore grandchildren since my time is very short. I can't bear missing out on all the fun with Amber. Most of my body is shutting down and it's hard to make changes in these pages. Juno isn't helping the problem. I should be getting some free time but they boot me every 5 minutes or as little as 2 minutes. BUMMER. >
